Our scouting group

We are one of two scouting groups of the DPSG in our town Ratingen, near Düsseldorf in Germany.

In the hierarchy of our national scout movement DPSG, we are one of seven groups in the regional district Niederberg. With these groups we belong to the diocese cologne.

Our group was founded as settlement of our partner group Wikinger (wikings) in Ratingen Lintorf in the year 1993. Our approvement as independent scouting-group, named “Kizito”, was announced on the 7. October 1995.

As local group we consist of approximately 45 members. Most of them are cubs and younger scouts. There are only three active scouters leading, but five scouters support them in doing so.
